Come Visit the Cosmetic Injectables Specialists

Here at the Image Center, we offer different types of injectables for face treatments, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, and fat loss injectables. Different injectables target specific treatment areas and are more effective at treating particular skin conditions.

During your consultation, Image Center experts will evaluate your skin condition and cosmetic goals to determine which treatment option is right for you, whether it’s our injectable fillers or one of our other injectables.

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators are a type of injectable that works to decrease the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by preventing the muscles beneath them from contracting.

Botox

Botox is a purified botulinum toxin used to treat dynamic wrinkles. These are the wrinkles that can form after years of making facial expressions, including laughing, crying, frowning, and squinting. Botox can be used to treat frown lines between the eyebrows, crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, and smile lines.

When Botox is injected, it disrupts communication between your nerves and muscles, which stops your muscles from contracting. As your muscles relax, the skin above the treated muscles also softens and relaxes. After a few days, your wrinkles will begin to smooth themselves out and fade away.

Many patients love the subtle results Botox offers and will schedule follow-up treatments every three to four months.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a type of injectable that works to minimize fine lines and hollowness by plumping up the area beneath your skin. Injectable fillers are also used to create fuller, more voluminous lips.

Juvéderm

Juvéderm is a collection of dermal fillers that use hyaluronic acid to add volume to your face and smooth the appearance of facial wrinkles. This injectable is made of the same natural substance your body uses to create volume under the skin.

There are two types of Juvéderm injectables: Juvéderm Ultra and Juvéderm Ultra Plus. The results from Juvéderm Ultra last for approximately six months. Juvéderm Ultra Plus has a slightly longer staying power, with results lasting anywhere from eight to nine months.

Depending on your desired treatment area and results, we will recommend which Juvéderm injectable is right for you.

Volbella

Volbella, a type of Juvéderm filler, is specifically designed for your lips. This injectable gel helps add volume and minimize the appearance of perioral lines, the fine lines that appear around your lips and mouth.

This injectable is formulated with smaller particles of hyaluronic acid, which makes it more suitable for use in delicate areas. These include the area under the eyes and smoker’s lines around the lips and mouth.

Voluma

Voluma, also a part of the Juvéderm family of injectable fillers, is a hyaluronic acid injectable designed to target your midface. Its thickness and durability make it especially suited to lifting your cheeks and combating volume loss.

This treatment is ideal for patients looking to lift and restore volume to their cheeks. Because your cheeks provide structure to your entire face, restoring volume there has the added benefit of improving the areas underneath your eyes and around your mouth. Voluma provides natural-looking results that can last up to two years.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) dermal filler. CaHA is a mineral-like calcium compound that contours your face by filling deep creases and enhancing the natural shape of your cheeks, nose, and chin. The ingredients in Radiesse also stimulate your body’s natural production of elastin and collagen.

Anyone who wants to treat the lower areas of their face, including deep smile lines, the corners of their mouth, marionette lines, pre-jowl folds, and chin wrinkles, can benefit from Radiesse. This injectable can also be used for non-surgical cheek and chin augmentations and rhinoplasties.

Belotero

Belotero is a hyaluronic acid injectable gel used to smooth moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles. This injectable is designed to fully integrate into your facial tissue using a soft, cohesive gel. The ingredients in Belotero are naturally found in your skin, so this injectable easily binds to your skin’s own water.

Belotero can be used to treat fine lines and hollowness under your eyes, nasolabial folds, and chin wrinkles. It is especially effective at targeting more delicate areas, such as the thin lines that appear around your lips. This treatment lasts approximately three to five months, depending on the treatment area.

Biostimulators

Biostimulators are a type of injectable that stimulates collagen production.

Sculptra

Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic material. When injected under the skin, PLLA stimulates collagen production and contours your face by adding lift and volume. It can be used in various areas of the face, except around your eyes and lips.

This injectable is a great option for patients who want to restore volume that has been lost in the aging process. The results aren’t drastic, so they’re perfect for patients looking to subtly improve the appearance of smile lines, cheekbones, or chin wrinkles.

Although it can take six to eight weeks to see the effects, your results will be long-lasting and can remain for up to two years.

Fat Loss Injectables

Fat loss injectables target and destroy fat cells in your body, particularly underneath your chin.

Kybella

Kybella is a non-invasive alternative to liposuction that targets and permanently destroys submental fat, the excess fat found underneath your chin. The primary ingredient in Kybella, synthetic deoxycholic acid, eliminates fat.

When Kybella is injected, the deoxycholic acid breaks down fat cells so your body can clear them away. This results in a leaner, tighter-looking chin. This solution is similar to a kind of acid your body naturally produces to break down and absorb dietary fat.

We typically perform a series of these injections, scheduled at least one month apart, until you achieve your desired results.
